Crunchyroll Reveals More Originals, Will Stream How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Season 2, Monster Girl Doctor & More

Streaming service and distributor Crunchyroll revealed new acquisitions and confirmation to stream a number of upcoming anime as part of the Anime Expo Lite 2020 convention on Friday 3rd July to Saturday 4th July 2020. These titles range from the current season all the way into 2021, one of which was previously announced a few months ago.

Starting off with the Crunchyroll Originals line-up we have three new anime series coming soon in the future.

EX-ARM

Based on the manga series written by HiRock, will simulcast this Autumn 2020 for territories Worldwide outside of Asia.

Plot Synopsis:

“In the year 2014, a high school student who hates machines, Akira Natsume, wants to change himself for the better and tries to take the first step in doing that… But then he gets run over by a truck. Fast forward to 2030. A police officer named Minami Uezono and her partner, the android Alma, infiltrate the scene of a trade going on at Tokyo Harbor for an unknown weapon named “EX-ARM.” They are then attacked by an enemy armed with the “EX-ARM” No.08. Put in this life or death situation, they decide to activate the “EX-ARM” No.00 that they stole from the enemy, and… “

Based on the light novel series written by Okina Baba, will simulcast this Winter 2021 for territories Worldwide outside of Asia. Previously announced before, but now officially confirmed to be a Crunchyroll co-production series.

Based on the light novel series written by Fuse, OAD Episode 4 will stream on 8th July 2020 and OAD Episode will stream this November 2020 for territories Worldwide outside of Asia. Season 1 is available to stream subbed on Crunchyroll and Season 2 will simulcast on the same platform this Winter 2021.

Plot Synopsis:

“Rimuru, now a teacher at the Freedom Academy in the Kingdom of Ingrassia, has become involved in the school’s outdoor training event with his class.
