The film has been rated 12A by the British Board of Film Classification for ‘brief moderate violence, sex references’. The distributor also has the rights to release the film for home video, which will include the GKIDS English dub that brings back the Lupin the Third Part IV & V cast.

While the distributor has mentioned these as part of their 2021 plans back in November, the Film Distributor’s Association website has listed Josee, the Tiger and the Fish and Violet Evergarden the Movie for UK cinemas this Summer, in addition to the latter already being rated by the BBFC.
