Master Keaton Manga Gets Sequel!

A sequel to the manga series Master Keaton was announced on the cover note of the eighth volume of the complete edition of Master Keaton which was released in Japan today.

Synopsis

Taichi Hiraga-Keaton is something of a Renaissance man: ex-SAS member, fluent in different languages, a father and a holder of a degree in archaeology from Oxford University he is working as an insurance investigator with headquarters in London where his skills stand him in good stead during the many investigations that he has to carry out around the world.

The sequel caries the title Master Keaton Re-Master” and the author credit referred to: art Takashi Nagasaki / Naoki Urasawa. The story takes place twenty years after the original series and Keaton is still acting as something of a detective.

The manga series was originally created by Hokusei Katsushika and Naoki Urasawa (Pluto) and was serialised in Big Comic Original between 1988 and 1994 and ran for 18 volumes. An anime adaptation ran for 39 episodes and was liensed in the west by Geneon.
