New 009 RE:Cyborg Trailer
A new 009 RE:Cyborg trailer was recently released and it shows more impressive animation.
Synopsis
The story follows a group of nine people who have been kidnapped from across the world for a project involving human experimentation. These people are turned into cyborgs but escape and turn their new powers against their former captors in order to protect humanity from them.
The anime is based on Shotara Ishinomori’s manga of the same name and is directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East, GitS: Stand Alone Complex), this is a co-production between Sanjigen and Production IG and features Yusuke Takeda (Blood: The Last Vampire, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) as the art director and Kenji Kawai handling the soundtrack.
The film gets a release this autumn.
