Square Enix’s Mystery Game Revealed
When Square Enix recently launched a website featuring a trailer for a mystery game full of fantasy-style characters in a fantasy style world with crystals and meteors speculation was rife that this could be another Final Fantasy game. Turns out that speculation was wrong because the game is a totally new property named Crystal Conquest and it is a browser game for Yahoo! Japan’s Game service.
The strategy/action game involves two teams of 20 players battling each other in a side-scrolling brawler environment. Players can summon creatures and use special skills from decks of cards they assemble before battle. The game will launch in Japan in the summer.
