Joshiraku Anime Trailer

A trailer was recently released for the forthcoming anime adaptation of Joshiraku, the latest manga from Kouji Kumeta the creator of Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei.

Synopsis

Joshiraku focuses on a group of girls who are Japanese verbal show performers as they discuss random things and find that their conversations take them to unusual places far from their starting point.

Joshiraku is written by Kouji Kumeta and is illustrated by Yasu who has worked on the Mangirl! and the Toradora novels. The director of the anime is Tsutomu Mizushima (Squid Girl). Scripts come from Michiko Yokote (Genshiken, Squid Girl). Voice actors involved in the project include Saori Gotou (Moeka in Steins;Gate, Karen in Sky Girls) and Ayane Sakura (Yozora in Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai).
