Seraph Of The End Anime Receives Green Light

Takaya Kagami, Daisuke Furuya and Yamato Yamamoto’s Seraph of the End dystopian vampire manga has been serialised in Viz Media’s English edition of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since late last year, following its debut in Japan’s Jump Square magazine in 2012. Yesterday, it was announced that a TV anime adaptation has been green-lit, although no other details were confirmed.

Seraph of the End‘s story centres on Yuichiro Hyakuya, one of the last surviving humans in a Japan that is controlled by vampires. After escaping a vampire stronghold, he finds himself enlisted in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, humanity’s last stronghold against the vampires.

Viz Media are publishing the original manga in English.
