WIXOSS Theatrical Film Receives Greenlight
Last year Takara Tomy and Warner Bros. Entertainment Japan introduced the world to a new multimedia franchise with selector infected WIXOSS, a psychological dark fantasy series where after certain WIXOSS trading card game players discover that their LRIGs can talk, become “selectors” and have to engage others in battle to have their deepest wishes granted; with failure carrying a cost as heavy as the wish.
Following the broadcast of J.C. Staff’s selector infected WIXOSS during the Spring 2014 season, the series was followed that autumn by the sequel selector spread WIXOSS and now, the franchise will be moving forward once more.
During a fan event for the franchise earlier today, staff members who worked on the series confirmed that a film has been green-lit. No further information is known at this point in time.
