Anime Ltd OOP Update: Aldnoah Zero, Expelled From Paradise & SAO II Part 4 CEs join the list

The fun never ends. Distributor Anime Limited have announced that three more collector’s edition titles will join the ‘Soon to be Out of Print’ list as of the time of this news post. Over the past few weeks we recently reported that a few others joined the list with a couple already officially sold out; including Lucky Star, OVERLORD and the first two Persona 3 movies.

For those who don’t know, the ‘Soon to be Out of Print’ section is dedicated to titles that have a limited amount of stock left at Anime Limited’s online store. What this means is that once the item has sold out, there won’t be any more restocks or new print runs, plus any other retailer currently selling the item will be the only ones left – which will affect the price-tag as well. We at Anime UK News know that a lot of the viewers and members of the UK anime & international community are huge collector’s so we want to let everybody know as soon as possible for these items.

The first title joining the list is the first season of Aldnoah Zero collector’s edition Blu-ray. Sold for SRP £79.99, the set contains the entire first season across 4 Blu-ray discs in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles plus a booklet containing artwork from the Aniplex of America release. Standard edition Blu-ray & DVD sets are now available if you aren’t interested in the special packaging. The set was released on 27th June 2016.

The second title joining the list is the Aniplex/Toei Animation movie Expelled From Paradise collector’s edition Blu-ray & DVD combo pack. Sold for SRP £39.99, the set contains the film across 1 Blu-ray and 1 DVD disc in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles plus a booklet and 3 artcards. The set was released on 4th July 2016.

The third title joining the list is the fourth part of Sword Art Online II collector’s edition Blu-ray & DVD combo pack. Sold for SRP £34.99, the set contains the last five episodes of the series across 1 Blu-ray and 1 DVD disc in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles plus a booklet. Standard edition DVD set is available. The set was released on 27th June 2016.

As for the existing titles currently in the ‘Soon to be Out of Print’ section, one title has already sold out meaning whatever is left across other retailers will be the last copies remaining. Sword Art Online II Part 3 is the title that’s now officially out of print. Standard edition DVD set is available.
