Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist PS4 action game announced for this Winter in Japan
The V-Jump magazine have revealed that Sui Ishida’s popular manga & anime series Tokyo Ghoul will be getting a new video game.
Entitled Tokyo Ghoul:re Call to Exist, based on the manga’s second series Tokyo Ghoul:re, is listed as a survival action game with flashy graphics and to offer co-op gameplay as well. Players will be able to experience the story through three different characters, and venture through battles as either Ghouls (with Kagune weapons) and Investigators (with Quinque weapons).
The game has not yet been announced for the west, however it’s subtitle has been trademarked by Bandai Namco Europe.
Tokyo Ghoul:re is available to read by book publisher Viz Media and the anime adaptation is available to stream on both Crunchyroll (United Kingdom & Ireland), Hulu (United States & Canada) and FunimationNow. The anime is also licensed by distributor Anime Limited for UK home video release.
The plot synopsis for the anime adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul:re as follows:
Haise Sasaki has been tasked with teaching Qs Squad how to be outstanding investigators, but his assignment is complicated by the troublesome personalities of his students and his own uncertain grasp of his Ghoul powers. Can he pull them together as a team, or will Qs Squad first assignment be their last?
