Netflix Releases Cannon Busters Trailer

It’s been a long time coming, but Netflix’s Cannon Busters original anime series is finally headed to the streaming service later this month. Following the announcement of its 15th August release date last month, Netflix have now updated their landing page for the series with the first trailer!

The landing page lists Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online‘s Kirito), Hinaki Yano, and Shiori Izawa (The Asterisk War‘s Saya Sasamiya) as starring in the series. The anime is adapting LeSean Thomas and J. Torres’ comic book series of the same name, with LeSean Thomas directing and executive producing, with animation by Satelight (Symphogear).

Netflix describes the series as follows:

Immortal renegade Philly the Kid and his transforming pink Cadillac join a relentlessly upbeat friendship droid on her quest to find a missing prince.
