Crunchyroll Adds English Dub for Isekai Cheat Magician, To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts plus two Autumn 2019 titles

Streaming service Crunchyroll has announced plans to provide English dubs for four of their titles. The dubbed versions will be available for the same territories as the subtitled version.

The first title is Isekai Cheat Magician from the Summer 2019 anime season. The isekai series from studio Encourage Films and based on Takeru Uchida’s light novel will begin its dubbed episodes weekly commencing Tuesday 1st October at 8:00pm BST (12:00pm PT). All 12 episodes are available to view in Japanese audio right now.

Some of the cast members have been revealed for the English dub:

  • Taichi will be voiced by Griffin Puatu
  • Rin will be voiced by Lizzie Freeman
  • Muller will be voiced by Laura Stahl
  • Lemia will be voiced by Tara Sands
  • Aerial will be voiced by Tara Sands

The second title is To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts (Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e) from the Summer 2019 anime season. The action fantasy series from studio MAPPA and based on Maybe’s manga will begin its dubbed episodes weekly commencing Wednesday 2nd October at 8:00pm BST (12:00pm PT). All 12 episodes are available to view in Japanese audio right now.

  • Nancy Schaal will be voiced by Erika Harlacher
  • Liza will be voiced by Cherami Leigh
  • Claude will be voiced by Billy Kametz
  • Cain will be voiced by Mick Wingert

The third and fourth titles confirmed to be given English dubs are from the Autumn 2019 anime season.

Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!, from studio Project No. 9 and based on FUNA’s light novel isekai series. The simulcast will commence for territories worldwide outside of Asia when it begins airing on Monday 7th October.

High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World!, from studio Project No. 9 and based on Riku Misora’s light novel isekai series. The simulcast will commence for territories worldwide outside of Asia when it begins airing on Thursday 3rd October.

More details for both of these Autumn 2019 shows, in terms of the English dub cast and when the dub will be made available, will be revealed later in the year.
