Manga Entertainment Reveals Q1 2020 UK Anime Schedule, Featuring Attack on Titan, Rising of the Shield Hero, ZOMBIE LAND SAGA & More

UK distributor Manga Entertainment has announced their release schedule for the first quarter of 2020. These titles will have listings available across multiple retailers very soon and the distributor has clarified that collector’s edition releases are still being ironed out – we’ll note down below which titles received special treatment for their US counterpart.

All titles listed below will feature both the original Japanese audio with English subtitles and the English dub.

13th January:

The first big title to start off the year is ZOMBIE LAND SAGA. The complete first season, covering episodes 1 to 12, will be released on Blu-ray (with digital copy) and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Funimation Now.

The US release did receive a limited edition set. The set includes a holographic rigid box with a 20-page art book with a rainbow holographic cover, 3 holographic art cards, and a chibi magnet sheet.

20th January:

Next is Dragon Ball Super Part 10. The release will cover episodes 118 to 131 for Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll.

27th January:

The Saga of Tanya the Evil finally makes its UK home video debut. The complete series, covering episodes 1 to 12, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed and dubbed on Crunchyroll.

3rd February:

For those who had bought volumes 1 to 8 but still needed the remainder of the series, Hellsing Ultimate Volumes IX-X is now on the schedule. The collection, covering episodes 9 to 10, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed and dubbed on Funimation Now.

Another big title of the year is SSSS.GRIDMAN. The complete series, covering episodes 1 to 12, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Funimation Now.

The US release did receive a limited edition set. The set includes a rigid box with a 150-page art book, art cards, an acrylic keychain that can be converted into a bracelet, and a sticker.

10th February:

Next is That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 1 Part 2. The release will cover episodes 13 to 24 for Blu-ray (with digital copy) and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Funimation Now.

17th February:

Making a surprise appearance to the UK is the 2007 space opera series Heroic Age. The complete series, covering episodes 1 to 26, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed and dubbed on Funimation Now.

Also scheduled is the isekai series How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord. The complete series, covering episodes 1 to 12, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Funimation Now.

The US release did receive a limited edition set. The set includes a rigid box with a 20-page art book, lenticular artcards, a fabric poster, and a magnet sheet.

24th February:

Next is Fruits Basket (2019 series) Season 1 Part 2. The release will cover episodes 13 to 25 for Blu-ray (with digital copy) and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Funimation Now.

Also scheduled is RADIANT Season 1 Part 1. The release will cover episodes 1 to 12 for Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Funimation Now.

In addition, Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 finally makes its UK home video debut. The complete series, covering episodes 1 to 26, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed and dubbed on Funimation Now.

The US release did receive a limited edition set but it is currently out of print. The set included a rigid box with a 40-page art book and 4 art cards.

23rd March:

Another big release for the schedule is Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2. The release will cover episodes 13 to 22 for Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series subbed on Crunchyroll and also dubbed and subbed on Funimation Now.

The US release will receive a limited edition set that will match the previous parts of the franchise, but at the time of this write-up, no more details have been mentioned.

30th March:

Last but not least another big release for the UK is The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 1 Part 1. The release will cover episodes 1 to 13 for Blu-ray and DVD formats. You can watch the series dubbed and subbed on Crunchyroll and Funimation Now.
