MVM Announces UK Anime Release Schedule for Q3 2020

UK distributor MVM Entertainment has revealed their current release slate line-up for the third quarter of 2020. The slate offers a mixture of recently pushed back releases, more complete collections for Blu-ray format and newer releases with a few receiving collector’s edition treatments.

The release slate below will also include late second-quarter titles as well for a quick reminder.

Toradora!

Collector’s Edition Blu-ray

Release Date: 11th May
Audio: English, Japanese
SRP: £59.99

Based on Yuyuko Takemiya’s light novel series and adapted by J.C.Staff, MVM brought back the Toradora! Blu-ray release with a collector’s edition set that offers a rigid box and a couple of art cards. The set is available for dispatch on MVM’s Anime-on-Line website if you want to get it early!

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai

Collector’s Edition Blu-ray

Release Date: 18th May
Audio: Japanese

Based on Hajime Kamoshida’s light novel series and adapted by CloverWorks, MVM will be releasing the Aniplex series over to the UK onto Blu-ray with a collector’s edition set which carries over the Aniplex of America limited edition booklet and artwork in a rigid box The set is available for dispatch on MVM’s Anime-on-Line website if you want to get it early!

Limited Edition Blu-ray Steelbook

Release Date: 1st June

Based on Kentaro Miura’s manga series and adapted by OLM TEAM IGUCHI, MVM once again re-releases the classic anime series with a limited edition Blu-ray steelbook release which recently had its finalised artwork revealed. Don’t worry the MVM and BBFC logos won’t be on the steelbook case. The set is available for pre-order on MVM’s Anime-on-Line website if you want to get it early!

From late studio Manglobe and director Shinichirō Watanabe, MVM once again re-releases the well-beloved anime series with a limited edition Blu-ray steelbook release which recently had its finalised artwork revealed. Fate/Stay Night [Heaven’s Feel] II. Lost Butterfly

Based on Type-Moon’s visual novel Fate/Stay Night’s third story route and adapted by Ufotable, the second film in the trilogy is coming to the UK this July in collector’s Blu-ray packaging and standard DVD. The collector’s edition will offer a rigid box and booklet from the Aniplex release. The spin-off series to the Rage of Bahamut franchise by studio CygamesPictures has now been scheduled for UK Blu-ray release. MVM will be offering a collector’s edition Blu-ray that offers a 40-page art book and 4 artcards housed inside a rigid box (the same contents as the Sentai Filmworks release). The set is available for pre-order on MVM’s Anime-on-Line website if you want to get it early!

Nobunaga the Fool

The original anime musical series by director Tomohiro Furukawa and studio Kinema Citrus has now been scheduled for UK Blu-ray release. MVM will be offering a collector’s edition Blu-ray that offers a 64-page art book and 10 artcards housed inside a rigid box (the same contents as the Sentai Filmworks release but omitting the bookmark and pin-ups). The set is available for pre-order on MVM’s Anime-on-Line website if you want to get it early!
