MVM Reveals Q1 2020 Anime Schedule, Licenses Bloom Into You, DanMachi II, O Maidens & More
Day 2 of MCM London Comic Con and distributor MVM Entertainment has announced their latest batch of new anime licenses as well as a recap of what they currently have yet to release for the UK.
Release Schedule Updates
Before going through the new licenses, MVM did update their release schedule. The schedule includes a few titles from the Q4 2019 slate pushed back while also introducing the Q1 2020 slate.
Accel World will receive a complete collection Blu-ray release. The series was released on both formats as two parts, however only the DVD received a complete collection at the time. This Blu-ray collection will be available this April. The release will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles.
Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.) will be available on Blu-ray this January. The release will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. Pre-orders will be available very soon at MVM’s store. You can stream the series on Netflix.
The limited edition steelbook release for Berserk from 1997 has been pushed back to 24th February for Blu-ray. The release will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles and is available to pre-order on MVM’s store.
Cells at Work (Hataraku Saibou) Season 1 has been pushed back to 20th January for Blu-ray. The release will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles and is available to pre-order on MVM’s store. You can stream the series on Crunchyroll.
The Girl in Twilight (Akanesasu Shoujo) will be available on Blu-ray this March. The release will be in Japanese audio with English subtitles only. You can stream the series on HIDIVE.
Initial D: Legend will receive a complete collection containing all three films on Blu-ray scheduled for January. The release will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. Pre-orders will be available very soon at MVM’s store. You can stream the films on HIDIVE (Film 1, Film 2, Film 3).
Kizumonogatari Part II: Nekketsu and Part III: Reiketsu standard editions will be available on Blu-ray in February and March respectively. The release will be in Japanese audio with English subtitles only. Pre-orders will be available very soon at MVM’s store.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai) will be available on Blu-ray in February. Theatrically released in January 2019, the second film in the Heaven’s Feel story arc from the Fate/Stay Night visual novel has been licensed. The film is animated by studio Ufotable and based on Type-Moon’s visual novel. Audio options will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. Coming to Blu-ray and DVD with a collector’s edition Blu-ray version this February 2020.
Fate/Stay Night [Heaven’s Feel] III. Spring Song
Scheduled for Japanese & US theatrical release in Spring 2020, the third and final film in the Heaven’s Feel story arc from the Fate/Stay Night visual novel has also been licensed. The film is animated by studio Ufotable and based on Type-Moon’s visual novel. Audio options will include English & Japanese audio with English subtitles.
