Rounding up their panel was the surprise license announcement (and license rescue) for the entirety of the classic Evangelion anime franchise from the 90s. This includes the 1995 television anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion from studio GAINAX and director Hideaki Anno, the updated 1997-98 compilation film of Evangelion: Death & Rebirth known as Evangelion: Death(true)2, and the 1997 alternative ending to the original series with The End of Evangelion.

All of these titles will be included as an Ultimate Edition Blu-ray release in 2021 for the United Kingdom and will include the English dub as well as the main Japanese language with English subtitles. However, given that there are two different English dubs (one from ADV Films and one from Netflix) there’s no news on whether they can only use one of them, or include both of them for this release.
