Crunchyroll has recently announced another batch of new anime that will simulcast on their platform for the Winter 2021 season. These new additions were revealed in an update to their existing post covering their entire list. The following will be available for the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada and other territories.
A couple of the new additions are continuations or spin-offs of existing anime franchises that many may recognise.
The first is Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! from studios Bones and Nomad, a spin-off to the Bungo Stray Dogs anime series. Simulcast launch date is not yet specified. You can also watch the entire franchise dubbed and subtitled on Crunchyroll.
Next is Non Non Biyori Nonstop from studio Silver Link, the third season to the Non Non Biyori anime series. The series will begin simulcast on Sunday 10th January. You can also watch the first two seasons subtitled on Crunchyroll, while the entire franchise is also streaming subtitled on HIDIVE.
“The cast and main creative team from the earlier installments of Non Non Biyori teamed up again for Non Non Biyori Nonstop! Now fans can rejoin Renge, Natsumi, Komari and former big-city-girl Hotaru as they experience an idyllic life in the Japanese countryside. Fresh excitement brews as someone new moves into the house next door. The students of the tiny, tight-knit Asahigaoka branch school will have to make this newcomer feel welcome, which means audiences are in for more of this series’ signature antics and heartwarming, human moments in the third season of Non Non Biyori!”
Next is WIXOSS Diva(A)Live from studio J.C.Staff, a new instalment in the WIXOSS anime franchise. The series will simulcast every Friday at 5:30pm GMT starting 8th January. You can also watch Lostorage incited & conflated WIXOSS subtitled on Crunchyroll and Selector spread WIXOSS (second season to Selector infected WIXOSS) dubbed and subtitled on Funimation.
And Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki Season 3 (Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki Sansatsume) from studio Saetta. Simulcast launch date is not yet specified. You can also watch the first two seasons subtitled on Crunchyroll.
“After growing up in Tokyo, high school student Jin Kaito moves to Nagoya where he meets Yatogame Monaka, a fellow student who puts her Nagoya dialect on full display. With her cat-like appearance and unvarnished Nagoya dialect, Yatogame won’t open up to him at all. This popular local comedy is increasing the status of Nagoya through observation of the adorable Yatogame-chan!”
In addition to the continuations we also have more newer shows joining the line-up.
