Funimation Reveals More Summer 2021 Anime Simulcasts with The Detective is Already Dead, Dungeon of Black Company, The Duke of Death and His Maid & More

Streaming service and distributor Funimation has revealed their next batch of anime they will be streaming as part of the Summer 2021 season in July. These five anime shows were revealed throughout the past week.

All titles below will stream in Japanese audio with English subtitles for the United Kingdom and Ireland territories as well as United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Australia and New Zealand regions.

The Detective Is Already Dead (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru.)

Based on light novel series by nigozyu, and adapted into an anime by studio ENGI. Simulcast begins Sunday 4th July at 2:30pm BST.

The Duke of Death and His Maid (Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid)

Based on manga series by Koharu Ikami, and adapted into an anime by studio J.C.Staff. Simulcast begins Sunday 4th July at 2:30pm BST.

The series follows a young lord, cursed to kill every living thing he touches, who was exiled to a mansion in the forest by his family. Fortunately, he isn’t all alone. His butler, Rob, and his maid, Alice, are also there with him.

As the young lord, nicknamed Duke of Death, begins to develop feelings for Alice, he becomes determined to free himself from his curse.

The Dungeon of Black Company (Meikyuu Black Company)

Based on manga series by Youhei Yasumura, and adapted into an anime by studio SILVER LINK. Simulcast begins Friday 9th July at 3:00pm BST.

Based on manga series by Gaku Kuze, and adapted into an anime by Studio Blanc. Simulcast begins Monday 5th July at 5:00pm BST.
