Funimation UK Streaming Adds My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, One Piece: Stampede, DanMachi: Arrow of the Orion Films

Streaming service and UK distributor Funimation have announced plans to stream a couple more anime films for the United Kingdom and Ireland territories.

Available since before the past weekend is My Hero Academia the Movie: Heroes Rising, the second film in the My Hero Academia series and directed by Kenji Nagasaki from studio Bones. The 2019 film is available to watch in English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Under Manga Entertainment, the film was given a theatrical and home video release in 2020. The film will also stream on Netflix alongside Season 1 starting 1st July.

Scheduled to stream on 25th June is Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Arrow of the Orion, also known as DanMachi the Movie, from the Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? series. Released in Japanese theaters in 2019, the film is directed by Katsushi Sakurabi from studio J.C.Staff. It is scheduled to be available on Funimation in English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Under Manga Entertainment, the film was given a home video release in 2020.

Also scheduled for 25th June is One Piece: Stampede, the 14th film in the One Piece series and directed by Takashi Otsuka from studio Toei Animation. The 2019 film is scheduled to be available on Funimation in English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Under Manga Entertainment, the film was given a theatrical and home video release in 2020. This is also the first time anything One Piece related is available on Funimation for streaming in the UK & Ireland territories.
