Ajin: Demi Human deals with many gruesome themes with excellently thought-out mythology and unique animation, but the largely dour and gloomy cast with little variety will be the deal breaker for most.

“Remember Frieza? He was good, wasn’t he? Why don’t we do that again.” And so Dragon Ball Z Movies 5 and 6 were created! Let’s have a look if they were any good, shall we?

This penultimate Fairy Tail collection is at times both overdramatic and anticlimactic.

Digimon Tri Chapter 3: Confession is the best entry in the series so far, having a balance of a great story and character development, with a good dose of action.

There is no linking narrative, no one single art style, it was literally all about giving these people a platform to show off. Does it work? Well...

Fate/Apocrypha is 12 episodes complete with grand battles, great animation and glorious Fate-fanservice magic in a new overblown but fun-filled story. If you have Netflix, then don’t hesitate to check it out.

A nice episode, but it should have been released with the other OVA rather than on its own.

Ronja the Robber’s Daughter is not the brightest spark in Studio Ghibli's repertoire. Despite some good ideas and lovely animation, this is primarily aimed at very young kids and therefore anyone outside that demographic would most likely find this 26-episode venture hard to get through.

With a lovable cast of characters, superb animation, and a real attention to detail, Hyouka comes highly recommended by me. It might sound boring on the surface but give it a try and you’ll find something truly fascinating.

GANGSTA. is an anime full of crime, gore and sign language, plus some lovable prostitutes and super-powered mercenaries. It also has a rather sudden ending, but does that ending hurt the overall series?! Read on!

If you love Durarara!! and its eccentrically colourful cast of characters, you’ll still want to watch Ten - even though it suffers from mid-trilogy syndrome and ends up diluting the impact of the main story it has to tell.
