Puyo’s The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan is a manga spun-off from Nagaru Tanigawa’s hugely successful Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series, which has previously been animated as 2 TV series’, 1 movie and 2 original web animation series’. This spin-off in particular focuses on the character Yuki Nagato and is set in the alternate universe seen in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. The manga is currently being published in English by Yen Press.
Information about the new project is still scarce, such as when (and how) it will air and which studio is animating it, although Kyoto Animation are a likely guess due to their work on all previous animated incarnations of the franchise.
