The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan Slated For Spring 2015

It feels like a long time has passed since Satelight’s anime adaptation of Puyo’s spin-off manga The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan was first announced, but fans of Nagaru Tanigawa’s Haruhi Suzumiya franchise will be happy to know that they might be closer to the series than once thought. Aya Hirano, the voice actress behind the iconic Haruhi Suzumiya posted a tweet earlier today stating that the new anime will be airing in Spring 2015.

This will be the first new anime property in the franchise since 2010’s theatrical feature The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, which was released on DVD by Manga Entertainment UK and the first anime adaptation not handled by Kyoto Animation. Yen Press are currently publishing The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan‘s original manga in English.
