Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time Cinematic Trailer Mentions May 2018 Launch Date
Video game publisher Bandai Namco have released a new video through PlayStation promoting the opening cinematic of Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, based on the hit anime series Little Witch Academia from studio Trigger.
Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time (Little Witch Academia: Toki no Mahō to Nana Fushigi) is an action role-playing game following the adventures of Akko, a witch-in-training, and her friends Sucy and Lotte exploring the world of magic and alchemy. Anime studio Trigger returns to offer cinematic cutscenes for the game throughout alongside the Japanese voice cast reprising their character roles. The game is developed by A+ Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The game was released in Japan on 30th November 2017. The western release has received some mass confusion surrounding its official launch, and as such the recent video released by PlayStation has offered a tentative release date for 15th May 2018. The game is set for release in the west on PlayStation 4 and Steam formats.
The western releases will be digital download only compared to the Japanese release which had a physical retail release alongside its digital version.

Bandai Namco have released a playable demo of the Japanese version that you can download on the Japanese PlayStation store.
The US version is currently available to pre-order on the PlayStation store at $49.99.
You can check out the anime series as well as its original OVAs over on Netflix in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles & other languages available. The series & OVAs are also available to own on Blu-ray in Japan with English subtitles.
