Magical Girl Site Now Streaming on Amazon Prime

The next addition to Animeism’s programming block in Japan is now streaming on Amazon Prime for the Spring 2018 anime season.

Magical Girl Site (Mahou Shoujo Site) is now available to watch every Friday starting 6th April 2018 for a total of 12 episodes. So far Amazon Prime in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada have added the first episode.

The anime is based on the manga of the same name and also a spin-off series to Magical Girl Apocalypse. Both Magical Girl Apocalypse and Magical Girl Site were written by Kentarō Satō. The anime adaptation for Magical Girl Site is handled by studio Production doA (Is the Order a Rabbit?? special episode) with director Tadahito Matsubayashi (Is the Order a Rabbit??) and script composition writer Takayo Ikami (Mawaru Penguindrum).


Plot Synopsis via Amazon:

It seems only the unfortunate can stumble across this site. That is why they were chosen. Without any place to call her own, Aya only thinks about dying. Bullied at school and abused by her own brother at home. One day she happens upon a creepy website called the Magical Girl Site and obtains magical powers. Together with other magical girls, Aya must face death and fight to change her destiny.
