Yuri!!! on ICE listed for UK home video release this September
Not long ago we discovered that Black Clover will be coming to the UK on home video from Sony Pictures and Funimation. That release would mark their first Crunchyroll title so there was potential for more titles under the brand to make their appearance.
Today, we have discovered another listing from Sony Pictures and Funimation with the well-loved series Yuri!!! on Ice now listed from MVM’s Anime-on-line webstore.
Yuri!!! on Ice is scheduled for 24th September 2018 as a Blu-ray & DVD combo pack at SRP £36.99, the same SRP used for Black Clover’s part releases, and will also be in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. Like Black Clover, Yuri!!! on ICE is part of the Crunchyroll x Funimation partnership.
The on-disc content will match the Funimation release from the US with the Blu-ray providing the extra features:

There’s no word on whether there will be a limited edition release like Funimation in the US had provided.
Plot synopsis via Funimation:

But when his idol and five-time champion Victor Nikiforov offers to be his coach, Yuri’s put on a trek for gold and to discover the true meaning of victory! Yuri!!! on Ice is available to watch for streaming on Crunchyroll in Japanese audio and on Funimation in English audio. For those wanting more YOI, the upcoming film Yuri!!! on ICE the Movie: Ice Adolescence is scheduled for Japanese theaters in 2019.
