J-Novel Club Offers New Announcements from Otakuthon 2018!

Digital publishing service J-Novel Club have revealed a couple more announcements during their panel at Otakuthon 2018.

During Anime Expo 2018 they announced plans to offer print releases for select titles. The next title to be given the print treatment is How Not to Summon a Demon Lord (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu). The timeframe is expected to be around the same as their first title revealed (In Another World With My Smartphone), which is currently late 2018 or early 2019. The series as of this article is currently up to volume 5 on their digital service to read.

The next set of announcements are for their digital service, starting with the novelisation of Crusher P’s Vocaloid song ECHO. The 2016 novel is written by Akira who also wrote the novelisation for Yume Nikki (which is also available on J-Novel Club to read).

All Routes Lead to Doom! My Next Life as a Villainess (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…) is the next announcement for their digital service. The series is also known as Bakarina in short. The 2015 light novel was written by Satoru Yamaguchi with illustrations done by Nami Hidaka. The series currently has around 6 volumes released in print in Japan.

The last announcement for their digital service has a working English title but it’s currently known as Apparently it’s My Fault that my Husband’s Head Turned into that of a Beast (Danna Sama No Atama Ga Shishina No Ha Domo Watashi No Seirashi). Both this series and Bakarina are from the Ichijinsha Iris line-up in Japan. The 2016 light novel was written by Eri Shizuki with illustrations done by Cho. It currently has 2 volumes released in Japan.
