Gal and Dino

(Gal to Kyouryuu)

Studio: Kamikaze Douga, Space Neko Company

“The comedy series will follow Kaede, a Japanese “gal” who brings home a dinosaur one day. We’ll see their day-to-day lives unfold in quirky situations as this goofy-looking dinosaur enjoys culinary delicacies, binges the latest shows on television, and gets wrapped up in the world of fashion while living with Kaede.”

Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2

(Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai? Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen)

Studio: A-1 Pictures

“From a good family? Check! A good personality? Check! Shuchiin Academy is where all these elite students with bright futures flock to. As the two leaders of the student council, Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane have supposedly fallen in love… But after almost half a year, nothing has happened!? They both have too much pride and can’t be honest. Things have gotten troublesome, and they are now caught in a war of “How to get the other to confess their love first.” This is a whole new romantic comedy, following an outbreak of cunning warfare between two elite students in love.”

Kingdom Season 3

Studio: Signpost

“Shin and Hyou are war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of proving themselves on the battlefield until the day Hyou is captured by a minister. The boy manages to escape and return to his village, but he is badly injured. Shin then meets a mysterious youth who bears an eerie resemblance to Hyou – a boy who will one day become emperor!”

The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED

(Fugō Keiji Balance: Unlimited)

Studio: CloverWorks

“The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED follows detective Daisuke Kambe and partner Haru Kato as they work on cases at the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters–where only people who’ve caused problems for the police end up.

Daisuke is a bit materialistic, using his vast wealth to solve crimes, becoming ever-detached to the human element of it all. Kato, on the other hand, believes money isn’t everything, and is repulsed by Daisuke’s lack of compassion. These two investigators will have to overcome their stark differences if they’re going to solve the mysteries ahead of them!”

TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls

Studio: A-CAT

“The series follows pitcher Yomi Takeda who, after a failed attempt at climbing the ladder in a junior high baseball tournament, vows off the sport when she heads to high school. But after reuniting with her childhood friend Tamaki Yamazaki (the only one to ever catch her special “Magic Throw”), the two head back to the sport once again.”

Also joining the Funimation streaming service is an English dub for both seasons of Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Both Kaguya-sama: Love is War and The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED are licensed by US distributor Aniplex of America.

Stay tuned for more announcements for the streaming service in the coming weeks!
