Funimation Autumn 2021 Anime Simulcast Line-up Adds Sunrise Beyond’s AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline, Silver Link’s Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD & More

More anime shows from the Autumn 2021 season have been announced to stream on Funimation’s platform as part of their simulcast line-up.

Each series will stream for the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand territories, as well as Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Colombia. The latter five currently do not have dates.

The four anime shows will be available in Japanese audio with English subtitles.

AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline (Kyoukai Senki)

From 4th Oct, New Episodes every Monday at 6:30pm BST

An original anime series by studio Sunrise Beyond (Xebec) and directed by Nobuyoshi Habara.

“This sci-fi fantasy series follows Shiiba Amou, a young boy who loves machines. When he meets an A.I. named I-LeS Gai, Amou is thrown into a battle to take back Japan from the oppression of four trade factions.

Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD

A multi-media project that consists of an original anime by studio Silver Link, as well as a manga series written by Norimitsu Kaihō and Makoto Fukami and a video game developed by Square Enix.

“Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD follows the aftermath of a mysterious illness that slips the people of Antarctica into a coma. The series focuses in on protagonist Shigure Daniel Kai, who is immune to the illness and drives himself further into the city’s abyss to find a cure.”

Based on the manga series written by Masafumi Nishida and Tadayoshi Kubo, the anime adaptation is animated by studio Gambit.

Based on the web novel series written by Priest, the Chinese donghua adaptation is animated by studio Shenying Animation.
