Nominees for the Sixth Crunchyroll Anime Awards revealed

The nominations for this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards have been announced, with voting now open to the public.

Covering all anime in 2021, the “Anime of the Year” nominees this year are 86 EIGHTY-SIX, Attack on Titan (Final season, part 1), Jujutsu Kaisen (cour 2), Oddtaxi, Ranking of Kings and Sonny Boy.

Jujutsu Kaisen and Oddtaxi are also the joint holders of the most nominations, having been given 11 nominations each, alongside a series that failed to be named for “Anime of the Year”, Wonder Egg Priority. Attack on Titan has 10 nominations, with lead character Eren Jaeger being nominated for both “Best Protagonist” and “Best Antagonist”.

Voting for the awards is open on the Crunchyroll website and closes on 25th January. The full list of nominees is below (not counting nominations for voice actors outside of Japanese and English – Crunchyroll’s other language services have nominations in voice actors in other languages too).
