Perfect Blue Review
Perfect Blue is an effective psychological thriller that brilliantly plays with expectations and directly addresses uncomfortable, heavy themes for a mind-trip of a movie. Whilst the ending may not as stellar as the work leading up to it, this is definitely a film that any anime fan should treat themselves to this Halloween.

The Red Turtle Review
The Red Turtle is a Studio Ghibli film, though it was created and directed by award-winning Dutch animator Michael Dudok de Wit instead of the Ghibli team itself. It contains stunning visuals and masterful direction, and is entirely presented without any spoken dialogue. Overly artsy, or genuine masterpiece? Read on!

Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight Volume 1 Review
Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight seems like a promising shojo tale at first, but as I delved further into it I found it didn't quite live up to the expectations I had for it. The series wants to be a Cinderella story but unfortunately the cringeworthy comedy and huge age gap between lead characters leave a lot to be desired.
