Katanagatari Volume 1 Review
Although Katanagatari doesn’t quite hit the heights of NISIOISIN’s Monogatari franchise, I’m sure fans of his work will still find a lot to like here as this first volume proves an enjoyable read. In fact this series is almost worth checking out just for the incredible effort that has gone into the translation.

APOSIMZ Volume 1 Review
How you get on with APOSIMZ will depend on how willing you are to committing to reading more than a single volume. This first volume offers little in the way of substantial world building or characters, so all the series really has going for it is Tsutomu Nihei's name.

Hanamonogatari Review
Hanamonogatari was a huge disappointment coming off the back of some incredible stories in this franchise. Kanbaru fans will likely get a lot more out of this book than I did, but otherwise there isn't a great deal to like here.

Nekomonogatari (Black) Review
Nekomonogatari (Black) rekindled my love for the Monogatari franchise and highlights just how big an impact translation can have on light novels. This latest entry in a much loved series comes highly recommended from me.

Anime Supremacy! Review
Anime Supremacy! is well written, informative and charming - this is one of the best industry-focused novels to leave Japan in recent years. Without a doubt if you’re someone who cares about the workings of the anime industry then this book belongs in your collection.
