FUNimation targets illegal anime streaming site

TorrentFreak are reporting that US anime distributor FUNimation are (allegedly) trying to take down KissAnime, a website that illegally streams anime to millions of anime fans around the world.

FUNimation have been able to piece together that their target is being hosted (at least in part) by DigitalOcean and have been granted a subpoena that requires DigitalOcean to disclose the customer details associated with the offending account.

KissAnime has a huge viewership and is listed amongst the 250 most visited websites in the United States.
