Fate/EXTRA Last Encore: Oblitus Copernican Theory Listed for 30th June on Netflix
Netflix have revealed their release schedule for the month of June and while there isn’t that much going on in anime we did spot at least one notable addition to the platform.
The latest Fate anime adaptation Fate/EXTRA Last Encore: Oblitus Copernican Theory has been scheduled to hit Netflix starting 30th June 2018. This is one of the Netflix Original titles that we had highlighted in our 2018 round-up article earlier in the year. The series ran for 10 episodes during the Winter 2018 anime season with a couple more airing later this Summer under the subtitle Illustrias Geocentrism. UPDATE (21st June): The Show Page is now available to view on Netflix, includes a trailer as well as a glimpse of what the English & other language dubs have to offer.
Animated by studio SHAFT (March comes in like a Lion, Monogatari), Fate/EXTRA Last Encore is based on the video game series Fate/EXTRA released on PlayStation Portable.

Waking up in a strange virtual world with no recollection of the past, Hakuno finds himself forced to fight for survival in a war he does not understand for a prize beyond value; the opportunity to have one’s wish granted. With only an enigmatic “Servant” by his side, Hakuno Kishinami will have to face both friends and foes in battles to the death in order to not only gain possession of a mysterious object known as the “Holy Grail,” but also to find the answer to the most important question of all: “Who am I?”
Netflix have also streamed another Fate related series as part of their Netflix Originals line-up with Fate/Apocrypha last year and earlier this year. For the UK fans they also have the 2006 adaptation of Fate/Stay Night and the 2014 adaptation of Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] also available for streaming.
