Netflix Confirms B: The Beginning Season 2 • Anime UK News

Netflix have revealed during the Annecy International Festival of Animated Film that Production I.G’s B: The Beginning will be receiving a second season for the service.

B: The Beginning is one of the many titles exclusively streaming on Netflix. Initially known as Perfect Bones, the series was made available last March 2018 in multiple languages for audio & subtitles.

There is currently no word on a release date at the time of this article.

Plot synopsis via Netflix:

In a world powered by advanced technology, crime and action sweep through the archipelagic nation of Cremona. Chief among the major players is “Killer B” – a serial killer who has thrown the city into chaos. The stories of Koku, the protagonist, Keith, a legendary investigator of the Royal Investigation Service, and a mysterious criminal organization intertwine on the path to reach their objectives. A wide variety of unforgettable characters surround them on the journey, as they attempt to stop a chain of horrific crimes in this suspense drama.

The anime was directed by Kazuto Nakazawa and Yoshinobu Yamakawa with Rui Kuroki as the producer. You can check out the first season of the series on Netflix right now.
