Crunchyroll to simulcast Cinderella Nine, Joshi Kausei, Midnight Occult Civil Servants & More

Streaming service Crunchyroll has announced five more anime titles from the Spring 2019 season. These shows will be simulcasted in original Japanese audio with subtitles.

The announced shows were AMAZING STRANGER, Cinderella NineJoshi Kausei, Midnight Occult Civil Servants and Nobunaga Teacher’s Young Bride; the streaming territories are noted down below for each respective anime.

AMAZING STRANGER (Chou Kadou Girl ⅙: Amazing Stranger) is an adaptation of ÖYSTER’s 2012 manga series. The anime is animated by Studio A-Cat and directed by Keitaro Motonaga. The first episode will air on Saturdays starting April 6th at 4:00pm BST.

Bouida Haruto is a hardcore otaku who has no interest in 3D (real) girls. One day, he bought a figure of his favorite anime heroine, Nona, but then suddenly, Nona started to move! The frenzied married life between one otaku and one robot (?) is about to start!

Cinderella Nine (Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine) is an adaptation of a 2017 free-to-play video game. The anime is animated by TMS Entertainment and directed by Susumu Kudo. The first episode will air on Sundays starting April 7th.

Joshi Kausei is an adaptation of Ken Wakai’s 2013 manga series. The anime is animated by the studio Seven and directed by Tokihiro Sasaki. The first episode will air on Saturdays starting April 6th at 4:15pm BST.

A silent high school girl anime that’s still cute, even if no one talks! Fun alone, fun with all. The daily lives of slightly dumb yet cute high school girls.

Midnight Occult Civil Servants (Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin) is an adaptation of Youko Tamotsu’s 2015 manga series. The anime is animated by the studio LIDEN FILMS and directed by Tetsuya Watanabe. The first episode will air on Sundays starting April 7th.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the series in territories North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Latin America.

When Miyako Arata joins the Shinjuku Ward Office, he thinks he’s gotten a normal civil servant job. But it turns out he’s joined the Night Community Exchange Department, one of which operates secretly in each of Tokyo’s twenty-three ward offices. Their job is to resolve occult issues concerning non-human beings. Accompanied by his senpai and department head Sakaki Kyoichi and the occult obsessed Himetsuka Seo, they work night after night, facing off with beings whose existence defies the laws of our world.

Nobunaga Teacher’s Young Bride (Nobunaga Sensei no Osanazuma) is an adaptation of Azure Konno’s 2017 manga series. The anime is animated by the studio Seven and directed by Noriyoshi Sasaki. The uncensored version of the first episode will air on Saturdays starting April 6th at 4:20pm BST, followed by the TV broadcast version on Mondays starting April 8th.

One day, there’ll be a girl who’ll fall head over heels for me.” Nobunaga was a teacher who was waiting for that kind of dating sim event to happen in real life. One day, a 14 year old girl named Kicho appears in front of him, saying that she’s his wife?! Apparently she came from the Warring States era and seems to have mistaken Nobunaga for the Oda Nobunaga and tells him that she wants to have his children. An age-gap love comedy featuring a teacher with a dating sims brain and a princess with a warring states era brain!!
