Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day and Granblue Fantasy the Animation Now Streaming on UK Netflix

Streaming service Netflix has added another batch of titles for the UK & Ireland region; two anime titles in fact on behalf of Aniplex of America.

The first is Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.) from A-1 Pictures which aired in April 2011. You can watch all 11 episodes of the series in both English, German & Japanese audio with English subtitles (as well as Arabic, French, Polish and Portuguese subtitles). The series was once available legally for streaming through Viewster one time, but for the most part, the franchise never gave the UK audience proper access to watch it online. MVM Entertainment will soon release the series for home video.

The second is Granblue Fantasy the Animation from A-1 Pictures which aired in April 2017. You can watch all 13 episodes of the series’ first season in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles (as well as Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish subtitles). MVM Entertainment has released the series on Blu-ray, and a second season will soon air this October 2019.

And also a brief note, all episodes for Knights of Sidonia (including its second season) are no longer available for streaming on the platform. This is likely due to the streaming rights had expired.
