Season 1 for Attack on Titan & My Hero Academia plus more Funimation shows now removed from Crunchyroll

North American distributor Funimation have silently removed a number of their titles from the streaming service platform Crunchyroll over the past week. These titles were one of the last remaining shows that had remained on the platform after Funimation had ended their partnership with Crunchyroll back in October, which saw hundreds of shows and films removed.

The titles no longer available on both the United Kingdom and United States and any territories with access to them are as follows:

  • 18if
  • Akiba’s Trip the Animation
  • Attack on Titan Season 1
  • Drifters
  • Monster Hunter Stories Ride On
  • My Hero Academia Season 1
  • Puzzle & Dragons X
  • Sakura Quest
  • Show By Rock!#
  • Trickster

This now leaves the following left from the distributor on the streaming platform:

  • Attack on Titan Seasons 2 & 3
  • Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond
  • A Certain Magical Index III
  • Dagashi Kashi 2
  • Date A Live III
  • Fairy Tail Series 2 & Final Season
  • Free! -Dive to the Future-
  • Free! Eternal Summer
  • GARO VANISHING LINE
  • High School DxD HERO
  • Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-
  • My Hero Academia Seasons 2 & 3
  • OVERLORD II
  • OVERLORD III
  • Space Battleship Tiramisu
  • SSSS.GRIDMAN
  • Steins;Gate 0
  • Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru

For those who live in the UK, these Funimation titles will remain as they were added on behalf of Anime Limited:

  • Chrono Crusade
  • Cowboy Bebop
  • Full Metal Panic!
  • Full Metal Panic? FUMOFFU
  • Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory
  • Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid
  • Love Live! Sunshine!!
  • Peacemaker
  • The Tatami Galaxy
  • Tokyo Ghoul:re

While the partnership was announced back in October 2018, the Winter 2019 season will be the final season to have the titles shared between the two. Funimation have partnered up with Hulu to bring their content onto that service (which is currently available for United States only, though there are plans to expand to more territories) alongside its own Funimation Now streaming platform.

It is unknown if Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 will be made available on Crunchyroll, despite its first half available currently and the second half confirmed for Funimation Now and Hulu services.

For those who want to see which Funimation shows or films were removed from the UK, we have a list of those titles here.
