Funimation UK Announces Black Clover Season 3 Part 5, Fire Force Season 2 Part 2 & Hyouka for November 2021 Home Video Schedule

Distributor Funimation have announced another batch of upcoming home video releases for the United Kingdom and Ireland territories, with a couple currently scheduled for November 2021.

The notable inclusion to this list is a re-release of Hyouka, which will be available starting 22nd November 2021 in both standard and limited edition Blu-ray releases. The limited edition includes a rigid box, 32-page booklet and 6 art cards.

On-disc extras include Textless Songs, and Trailers.

Anime Limited previously released Hyouka on Blu-ray in collector’s packaging before their license had expired alongside other Funimation titles back in April 2019.

Also scheduled for November are two more Shonen titles wrapping up their respective seasons.

First with Black Clover Season 3 Part 5 (Episodes 142-154) as a Blu-ray & DVD combo pack release which will be available on 22nd November 2021. While the US release includes a limited edition booklet, it was not mentioned in their official blog post for the UK.

On-disc extras include Black Clover: Season 3 Voice Actor Panel Part 2, Clover Clips Special Edition, and Textless Songs.

Next we have Fire Force Season 2 Part 2 (Episodes 142-154) as a Blu-ray & DVD combo pack release which will be available on 22nd November 2021. While the US release includes a limited edition box set, it was not mentioned in their official blog post for the UK.

On-disc extras include Fire Force Voice Actors Answer Your Questions, and Textless Songs.

Also scheduled for November 2021 is Plunderer Part 1 which has been pushed back from its initial release date of 21st June 2021 to 1st November 2021. Currently the series will still be released in both standard and limited edition Blu-ray releases. The limited edition includes a rigid box, 120-page artbook, 8 art cards, 2-sheet acrylic diorama and 2 stickers.

On-disc extras include Plunderer: A Conversation with Licht and Hina, Making Purin with Eric Vale and Sarah Wiedenheft, Promo Video & Commercial Collection, and Textless Songs.

That’s all of the news revealed from their official blog post. One notable omission is Golden Kamuy Season 2, which was originally scheduled for 30th November 2020, then delayed to 7th December, then 11th January, followed by 1st February, 22nd March, 28th June, and now 1st November which is almost a year since its original release window. Because it was not mentioned in the November line-up, chances are it has been delayed once again. Season 1 is also in a similar situation.
