Initial D Legend 2: Racer to stream on HIDIVE
HIDIVE continues to add some more anime here and then for the UK & Ireland (as well as the US & Canada) but this time we have another new addition to the Movie catalogue!
Initial D Legend 2: Racer will be streaming on HIDIVE in both English & Japanese audio with English subtitles. The timezone is buggy on the UK & Ireland side (it lists the date as Thursday September 6th 2018 bizarrely) but it is expected to appear sometime around 9th June 2018. The film page is already available if you want to check it out. This is the second instalment in the theatrical trilogy that retells the early parts of the manga series. Each film was released between 2014-2016.

The leader of rival group Myogi NightKids, Takesh, wants to challenge the now infamous Takumi in a race down Akina. As Takumi questions his identity as a racer, he discovers that, behind the wheel, there’s more to lose than just a simple race.
The first film Initial D Legend 1: Awakening is also available to watch right now in case you missed it, while most of the original anime seasons (Stages 1-4) are available to watch on FunimationNow. MVM Entertainment are releasing the Initial D Legend trilogy on Blu-ray & DVD for the United Kingdom & Ireland while Sentai Filmworks does the same for the United States & Canada.
