HIDIVE to stream 100 Sleeping Princes & the Kingdom of Dreams for Summer 2018 simulcast

US distributor Sentai Filmworks last week announced the rights to the upcoming Summer 2018 anime series 100 Sleeping Princes & the Kingdom of Dreams (Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100 Nin no Ouji-sama) for simulcast and home video.

Sentai’s license includes the USA, Canada, South America, New Zealand, Australia, UK, Ireland and other select regions. This article took a little longer than it should as HIDIVE’s announcement didn’t specify the UK & Ireland in their region list. We played it safe and dedicated to wait but we can now verify that the series has been listed on the schedule for the UK & Ireland territories. In addition the show page is available to view here.

The first episode will air on Japanese televisions on Thursday 5th July 2018 and will be available on HIDIVE every 4:00pm GMT. The anime is adapted from the popular mobile game series of the same name in Japan.

Sentai Filmworks describes the series as follows:

Enter the mysterious Dream World, where a newly-crowned royal soon learns of an insatiable evil, the yumekui, feeding upon the energy and dreams of sleeping princes who are then unable to awaken. The brave monarch must save them and their world from the dream eater!

100 Sleeping Princes & the Kingdom of Dreams features the voice talents of Kenichi Suzumura (Ajin, Maid Sama!, Mr. Osomatu) as Avi, Daiki Yamashita (Anonymous Noise, Food Wars! The Second Plate, My Hero Academia) as Navi and Haruka Kimura (Kurenai, The Slayers Revolution) as the princess.

HIDIVE offers over 235 anime titles including over 110 with English audio support. Recent anime additions include Aura Battler Dunbine, Cutie Honey Universe, Glass Mask 1984, Initial D Legend, Legend of the Galactic Heroes Gaiden, Pop Team Epic, Typhoon Noruda and many more.
