Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 and Gundam Wing Endless Waltz UK Blu-ray Release Details Revealed

Throughout the past few years, UK distributor Anime Limited has offered a number of Gundam titles to the UK & Ireland on Blu-ray with a number of them never before released prior. The trend of more Gundam releases continues with two recent announcements revealed by the distributor.


Revealed on Friday 7th February, packaging details and the release date were announced for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, the continuation of the classic anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Both Gundam Wing and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz has been released in the UK before under Beez Entertainment’s distribution.

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz is scheduled for Blu-ray starting 30th March 2020 as a collector’s edition release. The collector’s edition will include a rigid box housing a Blu-ray case, a 28-page booklet, and 5 art cards. The set will feature the three-episode OVA series Endless Waltz on a single Blu-ray disc, the movie compilation version of Endless Waltz on a single Blu-ray disc, and coming to the UK for the first time; a four-episode OVA compilation called Operation Meteor across two Blu-ray discs. Endless Waltz will feature the Japanese audio with English subtitles and the Bandai Entertainment English audio while Operation Meteor will be the Japanese audio with English subtitles only.

In addition, the first 500 units of the collector’s edition will also include an outer box that will house both collector’s edition box sets of Gundam Wing and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz if you order exclusively through Anime Limited’s online website. Pre-orders for this edition will commence on Friday 14th February at 5:00pm GMT.

“After Colony 196.

Tranquility has spread through the Earth Sphere and the colonies are at peace.

The Gundam pilots find themselves attempting to rebuild their lives in this new era. No longer having need of their weapons of war, they have sent their Gundams into the sun to be destroyed. But suddenly, Relena Darlian, who has become a high- ranking government official, is kidnapped by a colony with aspirations of total domination.

The Gundam pilots and their allies find themselves called into action once again. The Endless Waltz has resumed…”

For those who have missed out on both parts of the Gundam Wing collector’s edition sets, Anime Limited will also be offering a 50 unit only bundle that includes the out of print collector’s edition parts plus the shop exclusive Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz collector’s edition set on Friday 14th February at 5:00pm GMT.


The second announcement was revealed on Wednesday 12th February, packaging details and the release date was announced for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Stardust Memory is part of the Universal Century timeline and its main series portion will be coming to the UK for the first time (the movie compilation version known as Afterglow of Zeon had been released in the UK before under Beez Entertainment’s distribution).

Gundam 0083 is scheduled for Blu-ray starting 4th May 2020 as a collector’s edition release. The collector’s edition will include a rigid box housing a Blu-ray case, a fold-out poster, and 5 art cards. The set will feature the thirteen-episode OVA series Stardust Memory across two Blu-ray discs, and the movie compilation Afterglow of Zeon on a single Blu-ray disc. Stardust Memory will feature the Japanese audio with English subtitles and the Bandai Entertainment English audio while Afterglow of Zeon will be the Japanese audio with English subtitles only.

Pre-orders for Gundam 0083 won’t commence until much closer to the release date.

“Universal Century 0083.

Having triumphed in the One-Year War, the Earth Federation has grown complacent, while the last remnants of Zeon forces have been planning one final stand. It all hinges on ace Zeon pilot Anavel Gato stealing one of the new prototype Gundams out from under the Federation’s nose.

With a nuclear-equipped Gundam missing and their pride wounded, the Federation ship Albion and rookie pilot Kou Uraki set out in pursuit of the Zeon thieves and the stolen Gundam GP02A.”


And an added piece of bonus news, a standard edition Blu-ray release for Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack will be available starting 16th March 2020. It will include the same on-disc content and packaging artwork on the Amaray case as the out of print collector’s edition release released back in July 2019.
