With Crunchyroll and Funimation unveiling their simulcast line-ups, North American distributor Sentai (also known as Sentai Filmworks) recently announced a few acquisitions from the upcoming season that will also stream through HIDIVE for the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States and Canada, among other territories.
The first is Cute Executive Officer (Youjo Shacho) from studio Project No.9. The series will begin simulcast on Friday 1st January at 3:00pm GMT.
“She’s not a genius. She’s not a prodigy. Heck, she’s not even old enough to vote! But somehow Najimu Mujina scored a totally above-average job as the president and “CEO” of the Mujina Company, where she navigates the world of adults with infectious, bright-eyed charm and enthusiasm. Whether it’s golfing with colleagues, negotiating contracts or pestering her executive assistant, Yuki, her hilarious antics are sure to captivate audiences of all ages.”
Next is Non Non Biyori Nonstop from studio Silver Link, the third season to the Non Non Biyori anime series. The series will begin simulcast on Sunday 10th January at 5:35pm GMT. You can also watch the first season, second season and the movie on HIDIVE.
“The cast and main creative team from the earlier installments of Non Non Biyori teamed up again for Non Non Biyori Nonstop! Now fans can rejoin Renge, Natsumi, Komari and former big-city-girl Hotaru as they experience an idyllic life in the Japanese countryside. Fresh excitement brews as someone new moves into the house next door. The students of the tiny, tight-knit Asahigaoka branch school will have to make this newcomer feel welcome, which means audiences are in for more of this series’ signature antics and heartwarming, human moments in the third season of Non Non Biyori!”
Next is the controversial series Redo of Healer (Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi) from studio TNK. The series will begin simulcast on Wednesday 13th January at 3:30pm GMT. There are a couple versions of the anime during its Japanese broadcast, and its official English simulcast is expected to be the censored version first. HIDIVE are known for also offering uncensored versions later down the line, however, it has yet to be confirmed if this series will also get the same treatment.
