Anime Limited Reveals March 2023 Pre-orders with Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 Part 2 & Levius on Blu-ray!
It has been a couple of months since Anime Limited have provided a newswire on what we can expect to see for the current months. With the past few months focusing mainly on pre-orders from the Christmas sale, the distributor is now moving ahead with their March slate which features a few dates for pre-existing titles and early birds for more upcoming releases.
This month’s early bird list includes another batch of releases that will once again be available for a special offer, but we also have two new additions (well technically one, but we’ll explain that below) joining the list so let’s take a look at what you can pre-order this month:
Goodbye, Don Glees!
Release Date: 24th April 2023
Making a return from the Christmas early bird slate, Goodbye, Don Glees! now finally has its packaging and artwork revealed, but the release has been pushed back from its original January date (then March) to this April. As known previously, the film will be coming to Blu-ray & DVD in a collector’s edition package.
The early bird offer is £29.99 (£27 for Anime Unlimited members) which starts on Thursday 2nd March and will conclude on Thursday 9th March just before the next early bird title starts.
Retailing for £44.99 SRP, the set includes a rigid box, Blu-ray case, an original soundtrack CD, A3 poster and a 160-page Storyboard book. Audio options include Japanese with English subtitles and the NYAV Post English dub commissioned by GKIDS for their release.
Goodbye, Don Glees! released in 2022 in Japan and was worked on by director & writer Atsuko Ishizuka (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, A Place Further than the Universe) and produced by studio Madhouse (Death Note, OVERLORD) alongside music composer Yoshiki Fujisawa (A Place Further than the Universe).
“Teen misfits Roma, Toto, and Drop call themselves the “Don Glees,” an informal name for their backyard adventures. One day, when the trio gets blamed for a nearby forest fire, they set off into the woods to prove their innocence. As disaster strikes their expedition, tensions flare between the friends as they realize that growing up has taken them on wildly different paths in life.”
