While The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 1 Part 1 gets off to a grim start there is undoubtedly an interesting isekai story underneath it all. How much you like it will depend on how much you can put up with plot conveniences and injustice toward the protagonist. However, if the premise sounds like your kind of series then it’s certainly worth checking out. 

Part 2 of Radiant's first season manages to build on the series' potential and address some particularly poignant themes.

Boruto’s third set arrives on UK shores and with it contains the end of the story arc started in the previous set, as well as a nostalgia-filled graduation exam mini-arc. But is it all throwbacks like the cover of this volume will have you believe, or does it have more substance than that?

This second part of Welcome to the Ballroom gives a satisfying conclusion to this arc of Tatara’s story, and despite some faults with its pacing and brand of humour, delivers an exciting showcase of the spectacle of competitive ballroom dancing.

Black Clover returns for the next chapter in Season 2 but it doesn't quite pack the same punch as previous releases.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 1 Part 2 brings a satisfying conclusion to the series so far. This half of the series better balances its time and brings with it some characters that viewers are sure to fall in love with. 

Wise Man’s Grandchild is a fun isekai adventure. While the series doesn’t offer anything particularly new, it does a good job of bringing the best parts of the genre together. With some impressive animation and an entertaining collection of characters, this is one every fan of the genre should have in their collection!

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is a great series that is sure to attract Monogatari fans and those who are looking for a solid slice-of-life story.

Black Clover continues to improve into its second season and the conclusion of this part will certainly leave an impression.

Radiant is off to a decent start with its first part, even if it does play it a little too safe to stand out from other shonen series.

Gundam Wing concludes with one of the five original heroes turning traitor and a fight to save the mecha from the Sun.

Fire Force is a pretty decent shonen action show that has some really great moments when it touches upon the danger and heroics of being a firefighter. However, it is spoiled by the overuse of foreshadowing and unnecessary fanservice.

Over a decade since it first aired, Toradora! remains a classic romantic comedy series filled with lots of laughs, lovable characters and dramatic, moving moments.

Accel World presents an interesting MMO concept which is explored through the eyes of a likeable protagonist whose relationships and hardships form the emotional bedrock of the series.

Anonymous Noise offers a compelling and memorable shojo series. The twin focus on love and music gives this anime adaption a lot to work with and it certainly delivers. Hard to look away from and easy to fall in love with, this is a show not to be missed if you like this genre. 

Persona 5: The Day Breakers proves an entertaining watch for fans of the franchise. If you’re a newcomer to Persona 5 then this will do nothing but confuse you and probably isn’t worth the investment.
