Eureka Seven easily earns its reputation as a classic that deserves to be seen with a great story, world, and top-notch animation.

Despite the silly name and lack of fanfare around this title, In/Spectre starts off very well with likable characters, sincere chemistry between the two leads and interesting spin on Japanese folklore.

Overall I found Fire Force a bland, unengaging and often boring story. The synopsis led me to believe I was in for a much more interesting series than what we have.

Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution Film 1 had a lot going for it with it finally giving us the prologue to it all, the events of "The Summer of Love". And while this segment is done so very well, the rest of the film with its lack of coherent storytelling hurts what could have been something special. It leaves you wishing that perhaps they made the prologue the entire film, or at least an OVA, and left the content from the TV series alone.

As the English translation of the opening to this very show goes, “Now it's calling for me go back to the start”, as Dragon Ball Super begins its Blu-ray / DVD release here in the UK with the first thirteen episodes!
