Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight Volume 1 Review
Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight seems like a promising shojo tale at first, but as I delved further into it I found it didn't quite live up to the expectations I had for it. The series wants to be a Cinderella story but unfortunately the cringeworthy comedy and huge age gap between lead characters leave a lot to be desired.

Escaflowne The Movie Review
Escaflowne the Movie uses the same characters, mecha and world as the well-loved TV series – but to tell a more direct, fantasy-by-the-numbers story. Redeemed by a wonderful soundtrack and impressive visuals, it still manages to cast a distinctive spell of its own.

God Eater – Part 2 Review
Ufotable brings more God Eater to our screens, adapted from the somewhat popular RPG game series. Characters wielding over-sized swords and guns fighting large CG monsters, plus an actual story and character development! But does it end on a good note? (well, as good of a note as a "most of the human race is dead" story can get...)

I Hear the Sunspot Volume 1 Review
I Hear the Sunspot is a very different work from A Silent Voice but just as worthy of your time for its characterization and bitter-sweet depiction of a nascent relationship. And the artwork is gorgeous. Recommended.

The Boy and the Beast Review
The Boy and the Beast is a perfect film to show the whole family and while it hasn’t hit the level of Wolf Children, there is still some real charm to be found here. Not flawless but still well worth your time.

Dragon Ball Super – Episodes 100 – 105 Review
As Dragon Ball Super reaches triple digits the “Universe Survival Arc” pushes forward into relentless action as the 80-person, 8-universe battle royal continues. One universe has already been completely erased from existence by virtue of their defeat, and the seven that remain are fully aware of what results in failure. It’s a very odd scenario, even for Dragon Ball, but amazingly it manages to get even weirder with some of the new characters…
