This yuri manga series has the right ingredients for a magical love spell, but overall, it’s a quick but disappointing read.

While being connected to the Rage of Bahamut mobile game presents a barrier to entry, and its very slow, methodical pace may bore some viewers, Mysteria Friends is a beautiful slice-of-life series with a surprisingly wholesome yet playful take on the yuri genre.

If you’re a yuri fan, or perhaps interested in getting into it but not sure where to start, Yuri is My Job! is a fun and strong start of a new series that is worth picking up.
