While it's nothing special, Z/X Code Reunion is a fun but whimsical schoolgirl sci-fi action series, where being familiar with the original card game it's based on doesn't matter too much.

While being connected to the Rage of Bahamut mobile game presents a barrier to entry, and its very slow, methodical pace may bore some viewers, Mysteria Friends is a beautiful slice-of-life series with a surprisingly wholesome yet playful take on the yuri genre.

Domestic Girlfriend is a soap opera in anime form. The blend of drama and comedy is conveyed well to the viewer and despite being a potential step-sibling romance, it approaches the subject matter maturely. Even if it's not usually your sort of series, it's well worth giving a shot.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is a great series that is sure to attract Monogatari fans and those who are looking for a solid slice-of-life story.

Over a decade since it first aired, Toradora! remains a classic romantic comedy series filled with lots of laughs, lovable characters and dramatic, moving moments.

Fate/Apocrypha’s second half does well to bring its story to a conclusion, pitching in with some fantastic fight sequences and art direction, all the while showing some good character development along the way.

Overall, Eromanga Sensei provides an entertaining watch right to the end. Although it won’t win over anyone who disliked the first half, it remains a fantastic comedy for those who are on-board. With a likeable cast of characters, insightful glimpses into the light novel industry and catchy opening/ending themes, this is a highly recommended watch!

The first half of Fate/Apocrypha sets itself up as an exciting and tense action series, while also focusing on its deep and satisfying character relationships. With no ties to previous entries in the Fate universe, this also makes it a great place to start for newcomers.

Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu brings this prequel story to a close wonderfully. With dramatic action, heartfelt discussions, and good old Monogatari humour, there is plenty to enjoy here. Both newcomers and longtime fans will want to own this trilogy in their collections! 

While Dai Shogun's backstory speaks of some potential, it ends up going nowhere with its harem plot, with fanservice that is played too straight to be funny, while its animation leaves a lot to be desired.

Kizumonogatari is off to a slow but entertaining start. Having read the novel, I’m looking forward to what comes next in the films. However, even newcomers to Kizumonogatari’s story will be hooked from this intriguing beginning.

Girls’ Last Tour is a very relaxing survival story that generates a lot of appeal from its comfy styling and deceptively cute presentation. Its slow pace and slice-of-life sensibilities may seem boring to some, but if you look past that, the series shows an engaging deeper narrative with a strong anti-war message.
