RWBY Volume 5 juggles a lot of elements that ultimately don’t always pan out, making this one of the weakest seasons so far. Hopefully it's merely a blip on the radar and not a sign of things to come.

RWBY Volume 4 may not be as explosive and dark as Volume 3 but it’s a great follow-up that properly sets up the pieces for the next chapter of the story, with good emotional arcs and fun fight sequences.

Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution Film 1 has a lot going for it with us finally getting the prologue to it all: the events of "The Summer of Love". And while this segment is done very well, the rest of the film, with its lack of coherent storytelling hurts what could have been something special. It has such a magical soundtrack that tells the story better than what you see, and leaves you wishing that perhaps they could have made the prologue the entire film, or at least an OVA, and left the content from the TV series alone.

Black Clover may come out screaming in its debut but that still may not be enough to hold our attention.

If you love Ghibli, desire more of it, or are simply willing to look past this movie's Ghibli-related beginnings, then you’ll find a charming, magical and fun family movie with beautiful animation from a studio that clearly wants to make more delightful movies in the future.

And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online? is a show that sets out with silly comedy in mind but has the depth to both educate viewers and provide an enjoyable ride at the same time. Both fans of fantasy and slice of life series will get a lot out of the show!

Although it may not have been the action-filled romp I expected, Aoharu x Machinegun instead offers quality drama, focusing sharply on its small cast of well developed characters

That Blue Sky Feeling delivers a likable story and provides a valuable resource, especially given its age-rating: Teen (13 +) as a means to read about - and maybe discuss - LGBT+ issues.

A rock-solid start for this Shonen Jump adventure.
